One day at a time.

When I’m looking to build a habit or reach a new goal - I start with a calendar. I got the method from Alissa Ashley and I can credit it for every major goal I’ve accomplished in 2022.

Numero Uno

Decide your goals for the month, and make a key with icons in the notes section of the calendar.

Numero Dos

Each day fill in the calendar according to the icons. It’s built in accountability and instant gratification.

The calendar method works best for me, when I set objectives that are attainable each day. If my goal is to write a book, then I can’t make writing a book my daily objective - it’s not attainable for every day. But writing 300 words a day is attainable. So don’t think about the big goal, just the little things that when done each day, will make the big goal happen.
